CW Rothschild (AKA)  Charlie, Chuck was born in Portsmouth Virginia to Irma Haseltine Bowels age 38, and Harry Alexander Rothschild age 38. 

They moved to Bay City Michigan when Chuck was in grade school, he attended Handy Highschool, graduated in 1961 and attended Bay City Michigan Junior College.  He joined the United States Air Force January 15,1963 and was Honorably discharged in January of 1967. 

During his time served he was stationed in Greece, on the Island of Iracklion Crete. on that tour of duty he met his later to become wife Cynthia Marie Nelson. After Chuck's tour of duty he traveled and lived in various Cities and fell in love with Seattle, the mountains, trees, and water was what he loved about the City.  He was active in his community of Rainier Beach and was an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed the many improvements he made to the family home of 30 years. 

He had many pets along his journey of which he treated as his children.  Women at his bank gave him a Kitten baby shower for his Cat Filos. (Greek for Male Friend) He also had a large dog named Barney that was a Shepard St. Bernard mix, and Barney was a joy for him. 

Chuck was an avid reader, and enjoyed taking long car rides.  He drove for several decades a small sports car which he put several engines in, and enjoyed a restoration project of a Camero with his Son Brian. He shared with David his enthusiam for his travels to London and Spain. He had a close relationship with both of his Sons. 

In 2008 Chuck was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer he battled his terminal illness for over one year and remained positive. In March of 2010 he became free from all of his pain and suffering. 

Chuck was a wonderful person, he was known to stop and help people in need that were having mechanical problems on the road. 

Chuck will be missed by Cindy, David, Brian,family members  and many good friends. To name a few, Richard Peterson, Garry Almont, and Brian Read, they treated him as a brother.

Cindy, David and Brian invite you to light a candle, or share a memory.  The memory of their Father wanting THE VERY BEST OF EVERYTHING FOR THEM  will stay in their hearts for their lifetime.
